Mitch goes looking for the Warder, then thinks better of it. "Mr. Warder, sir, it appears we have company. I'm gonna go out and greet him or her, unless you have a problem with it."

The Warder nods. "The Guardians are already on the way, but you're welcome to go talk to him if you want."

A disreputable-looking dude wanders out from the direction of the Caern. "Help you?"

Wow. Even for a 'Gnawer, this guy's a scraggly old cuss. He looks like he's made out of rawhide and old leather; he's missing his left eye, and doesn't bother to cover it up with a patch. Scars seam most of his visible body beneath his really ugly Hawaiian shirt and shorts. He scratches vigorously at his ass, nodding a greeting.

"Yeah. 'Least, I hope so. Name's "Brings the Funk." Elwood to my friends. I've got something to deliver, and I was hoping to hang out for a bit after that." His scarred face creases into a homely grin. "Been on the road a long time...almost forgot what it's like to crash in the same place two nights in a row, you know?"

(out loud) "Well, I can't speak for the Sept, but" He takes a flask out of his bag "here's a welcome nip. Our Warder should be here pretty quick for an escort in."

"Thank you kindly." He tips back the flask, and grimaces in appreciation. "That'll put hair on your chest."

"I do what I can. Still working on the finer points of home-brew. At least it still burns when lit!" Mitch's eyes light up a bit.

"Heh.  Remind me to tell ya about a buddy of mine who earned himself the deedname "Burns My Butt" someday.  Let's just say that his homebrew was potent enough that you could literally breathe fire afterwards...and he wasn't all that particular about where he aimed.  Anyway, that's really kinda why I'm here: telling stories."
