Howl of Introduction, 5/11/2015

A powerful, enraged howl echoes through the local Penumbra, coming from just outside the Bawn.

<< He seeks entry into your Caern. He seeks to speak to the Hole-Sitter. >>

*Perks up and walks to the edge of the bawn.*

An enormous dark-featured wolf with strong jackal-esque features sits on his haunches.

A disreputable-looking man comes to the howl's source. "Evenin', Elder. Our Warder should be right along."

The wolf shifts to Homid, he is attired in the garb of a Bedouin warrior, a large Klaive slung across his back, nearly every visible inch of his body cris-crossed in scars.

" السلام عليكم, this wolf shall wait then. "

Harley trundles up, in Homid and bedecked in his usual beach clothes.

He takes a moment to smell the Elder.

Harley --> "You'll want to have a cleansing before you enter, but otherwise, it's an honor to have you here, Heart-of-Anubis-Rhya."

The Elder nods, "This one will obey your customs. It is your Alpha this one has quarrel with, not your sept."

Harley --> " Uhhh yeah, about that... " he glances around. "Anybody want to assist with this? I'll go see if Seta is around. "

"I c'n help with the cleansing, sir. Be happy to chat as well, if it's amenable."

The Elder nods, his voice is low and rumbling, "Certainly, the Children of Owl have a saying, 'conversation is the one currency of the road'."

The longer Heart of Anubis remains in one place, the more the air temperature seems to drop.

"Heh. Somethin' we have in common, then, sir. It's the one real freebie in travel."

" That is a truth. We are both tribes of wanderers and vagrants. Our histories have always been intertwined."

A chorus of howls echoes over the umbral bawn. Three voices intertwine in a haunting melody, the soprano of the trio lingering a couple notes longer than the bass and baritone.

A young woman with flame-red hair waits at the edge of the bawn, expectantly. She wears a dark-colored dress that falls right above her knees, a sash in royal purple across her waist. Her lips are quirked into a small smile as light-colored eyes scan for signs of life.

She grins at Miguel when she sees him.

Heart of Anubis turns towards the new howl.

To Mitch: "A new guest, it seems. The Warder is otherwise occupied, perhaps we should go and say hello."

*Starts when he hears the howls and his eyes widen when he sees the fire haired girl*

Little Silver Bird? Is that you? *looks her up and down* You look all grown up. *Reaches out his hands*

A Lily in lupus -- a magnificent, regal wolf of silvery-white fur -- trots in from behind the redhead and bumps into the back of her knees. Her tail is wagging furiously, tongue lolled from the side of her gaping mouth.

"Right you are, Elder. Family reunion, Miguel? I would've brought drinks and those little hats. What's up?"

*Thinks... and his expression mellows somewhat*

I have a guess. *looks to Lily somewhat suspiciously* I do have a guess.

A wide grin lights up her face when she see Miguel and the others. She reaches her hands out to take his, giving them a gentle squeeze. "The little bird has left the nest, cousin." She responds, wryly.

The girl's footing is thrown slightly off when Lily bumps into her, but the stance is quickly corrected. She catches sight of the regal wolf and gives a joyful laugh. "Lily! I'm so glad to see you too! There are so many familiar faces already."

Her gaze travels between Miguel and Lily, expression curious. "An idea, hmm?" She turns her attention to the stranger, Mitch. "There still may be time for little hats. I traveled here with family, they should arrive shortly."

Lily gave what passed for an innocent expression on a canine face. "This one is not saying otherwise," she said in the way of wolves.

The Warder returns, still looking a bit off.

"Ahh, another new arrival, your howl I suppose? What's your business at Falling Waters?"

*Battery of Sensory gifts*

To Heart of Anubis,

"I am very sorry Elder, but Seta-Rhya is not in Falling Waters right now. Away on Tribal business."

The Elder snarls.

" Well then, this trip is for nothing. "

He glances at the assembled Garou, " This one would like to review your Caern. Will any of you guide? "

"Pendin' the Warder's OK, fine by me sir. Gettin' a little edgy with all this royalty around." Mitch smiles.

Harley, looking a little edgy, "Certainly, the Elder is free to take a look around, once he's had a ba-", coughs into his hand quickly, "Once the Rite is complete."

"If you'll be so kind, sir, I'll be happy to assist." Mitch promptly plops on the ground and takes a bottle and a flask out. "Regular water or will anythin' do, sir?"

" As you will. By Gaia's grace, many things may serve. "

"Huzzah!" Artemis ambles up, giving Mitch a playful bump with her shoulder and smiling at all three newcomers. "The Castillo saga continues, now with backstage interviews and quick and humorous camera cuts. Hello, Children of Falcon!"

To the Elder, she formally bows, "If you would accompany me, Elder, I am Artemis Kokkinos, Adren Ragabash of Pegasus' children, and the Gatekeeper of this place. The warder has given leave, and I can guide your review of the caern."

Over Fox's mindlink, Artie shrugs, "I figured I'd save you guys the trouble. He doesn't look particularily sunny, and I think I'd last longer if his mood turns sour."
