The Umbra houses many things, from fair to foe and all the colors in-between. Quiet as it was, for the moment, there was a rustle of activity coming from a section of brush that was a bit more raucous than a deer-spirit.

Soon enough, a Crinos with black fur and a silvery underbelly emerges, ears ticked forward to catch sound of any approaching two- or four-footed comers. She untied a rucksack from around a shoulder and let it slide to the grass with a soft thump. She phased down to homid in a gradual melt, pausing to wrangle some sweatpants and a t-shirt from the bag.

Clothed, she sat down beside the bag, tapping out some song's beat against her knees with her thumbs.

*Eventually a wolf, whose fur is a brilliant silver, glides by. Passing behind a tree for a second, the wolf disappears and a man takes his place. Bronze skin, black hair and beard streaked with silver, he leans against the tree and looks at the newcomer silently*

((Can I safely assume the Warders did their sniffs, gave her a thumbs-up and pushed her over the Falls?))

A young woman quietly approaches the man, standing just behind him as she regards the newcomer.

((You are appropriately sniffed and cleared))

A silver wolf pads up with the man and woman.

"All righty, let's--"

Jude turned from conversing with the Warders, to blink at the small audience she'd collected. Suddenly the center of attention, she drops her gaze and scuffs a foot into grass.

"Um. Hi?"

*looks to the other two, nods, and walks away.*

Asya smiles and waves at the newcomer before following Miguel.

The wolf takes a long, soulful look, and departs.

A very confused metis watches the trio move away, blinking and at a loss. Surreptitiously, she lifted an arm to sniff, but found the odor inoffensive.

They had been well-dressed, the homid, and the wolf had had a rather majestic quality about himself. Really, should she be that surprised? She was metis, and was accustomed to brusque treatment.

Gathering her things, she left the small clearing to refamiliarize herself with the caern and its many nooks and crannies.
